Catalan Dragons have confirmed that winger Fouad Yaha will sidelined for six-eight weeks following a shoulder injury sustained before the Super League game with Widnes on Sunday.

The 18-year-old, who only made his Super League debut in April, picked up the injury during the captain’s run prior to the match, which Catalan lost 29-22 despite taking an early 12-point lead.

Yaha will continue to be assessed by the club’s doctors and will undergo more tests on Wednesday to determine whether he needs surgery or not.

His injury adds to the already long list of casualties at the club with Vincent Duport, Todd Carney, Thomas Bosc, Michael Oldfield, Zeb Taia, Eloi Pelissier, Willie Tonga and Stan Robin all ruled out.
