Leigh thrash Hunslet to return to Championship summit

Leigh returned to the top of the Kingstone Press Championship thanks to a 72-6 demolition of Hunslet in their rearranged fixture at Leigh Sports Village.
Full-back Gregg McNally led the way with five of the Centurions' 14 tries and stand-off Martyn Ridyard contributed 20 points with a try and eight goals as they leapfrogged Bradford at the summit.
Liam Kay, Mickey Higham and Matt Sarsfield all touched down twice and Kurt Haggerty and Martin Aspinwall scored Leigh's other tries.
The Hawks trailed 68-0 before Mufaro Mvududu broke their duck with a try, which was converted by Danny Ansell.
