Travis Burns and James Green trade blows during the Super League match between Hull KR and St Helens.

St Helens' Travis Burns and Hull KR's James Green will face the RFL disciplinary committee, after trading punches during Friday's Super League match-up.

Tempers flared after half an hour at the KC Lightstream Stadium, following an initial tackle by Burns on Green.

Both players were subsequently sin-binned by referee Phil Bentham after coming to blows in the 31st minute of Saints' 31-22 victory over the Robins.

St Helens trailed 16-10 at half-time but scored three tries after the interval to return to winning ways.

They were the only players from round three matches charged by the Rugby Football League's match-review panel and are facing a ban of between one and two matches.
