Hull KR prop James Green is facing a ban of two to three matches following his dismissal for punching during his side's 16-16 draw with Warrington.
Green was shown a red card by referee Michael Woodhead for the punch on his former Rovers team-mate Jordan Cox on Friday night and on Monday was charged by the Rugby Football League's match-review panel with a grade C offence.
He is one of five players who will appear in front of an RFL independent disciplinary tribunal at Red Hall on Tuesday.
Team-mate Ben Cockayne has been charged with a grade B dangerous tackle on Warrington prop Chris Hill during the same game while Wakefield prop Anthony England is accused of a grade B offence of a shoulder charge on St Helens captain Jon Wilkin during his side's 44-32 defeat by Saints on Sunday.
Mossop was sin-binned for a 19th-minute trip on full-back Tony Gigot and is also charged with a similar offence in the last-minute on forward Glenn Stewart.
Catalans stand-off Todd Carney was given a warning for pulling the hair of Wigan forward Taulima Tautai, an offence described as contrary behaviour, and prop Romain Navarette was warned over a dangerous tackle on Mossop.
Leeds prop Brad Singleton will appear in front of the tribunal on a grade A charge of a high tackle on Aaron Heremaia during the Rhinos' 23-22 defeat by Widnes on Sunday.
