Kyle Amor, Danny Brough and Chris Houston are among the players facing disciplinary action from the RFL after the first set of Easter fixtures.

St Helens prop Amor has been charged with a grade B offence following his sending-off in the Good Friday derby at Wigan.

Amor was shown a red card just 12 minutes into Saints' 29-18 defeat for a high tackle on Wigan winger Liam Marshall, who went on to score two second-half tries.

Acting Saints coach Jamahl Lolesi blasted the decision, insisting it was not a red-card offence, and criticised referee Ben Thaler for failing to consult video official Phil Bentham before taking action.

The Rugby Football League's match-review panel has decided the tackle was careless, conceding that the initial contact was made with the ball/player's chest, and charged Amor with a grade B offence, which carries a one to two-match suspension.

If Amor exercises his option to submit an early guilty plea, he will receive a one-match ban, otherwise he will face a disciplinary hearing on Wednesday.

The former Leeds and Wakefield forward has been included in St Helens' 19-man squad for Monday's home game against Betfred Super League leaders Castleford.

Meanwhile, Huddersfield's acting captain Brough has been charged with using foul and abusive language to a referee and three players have been accused of making contact with a match official.

Brough, who recently served a one-match ban for punching, was sin-binned by referee Chris Campbell for persistently questioning one of his decisions in the Giants' 29-22 home defeat by Catalans Dragons in the opening match of the Easter Super League programme.

He will now face another hearing after being charged with a grade B offence.

Widnes loose-forward Houston could be banned for up to five matches after coming into contact with referee Phil Bentham during the Cheshire derby on Thursday.

Houston, who has also been issued with a caution for pulling the hair of Warrington forward Ashton Sims in that match, is facing a grade D charge while Leigh full-back Gregg McNally has been charged with a grade C offence and Castleford scrum-half Luke Gale is facing a minor grade A charge, both for making contact with a match official.

Hull second rower Sika Manu has been charged with a grade A high tackle and the panel also issued cautions to Rhys Hanbury (Widnes), Matty Ashurst (Wakefield), Brad Fash (Hull) and George Griffin (Salford).
