Salford have announced the loan signing of Justin Carney from Super League rivals Castleford.
The Australian wing, who has averaged more than a try a game since joining Castleford in 2013, will spend next season with the Red Devils.
Carney follows Robert Lui and Ben Murdoch-Masila - close-season recruits from the NRL - to Salford, where he will play under former Aussie head coach Tim Sheens and Devils head coach Ian Watson.
Watson told the club website: "There are few stronger players in the League than Justin Carney and we are really looking forward to working with him and getting him on track with our philosophy and goals here this season.
"Justin is an immense athlete with a strike rate that is up there with the best in the world. He is exciting to watch and our fans are going to enjoy watching him run at defences week in week out."
Carney signed a five-year Castleford deal only last year but was briefly suspended towards the end of the season pending the results of a club investigation. He was later reinstated.
