Ryan Lannon signs new three-year Salford contract

Ryan Lannon has signed a new three-year contract with Super League side Salford.

The 20-year-old emerged from the club's academy last season, making his Super League debut against Leeds in April.

Forward Lannon - cousin of former Wigan and England second rower Gareth Hock - is now committed to Salford until the end of 2018.

Head coach Ian Watson said: "'Ryan Lannon is a great signing for us and shows the club's commitment to producing our own players through the youth set-up.

"I'm really excited to watch how Ryan's career develops over this coming season and the future."
