Chris Sandow nailed an amazing long-range drop goal as the hooter sounded to snatch a 31-30 victory for Warrington at Salford.
The Wolves trailed by 18 points with half an hour remaining but produced a stirring rally, scoring three tries in six minutes to set up a tense finish.
Salford halves Michael Dobson and Robert Lui both missed drop goal attempts late on but after missing a long-range penalty, Sandow snatched a fourth successive Super League victory for Warrington at the death.
