Assistant coach signs deal for 2011

Assistant coach James Webster will remain with Hull FC next season after agreeing a one-year contract. Webster, the former Hull, Hull KR and Parramatta Eels scrum-half, joined head coach Richard Agar's staff earlier this year after calling time on his playing career. And, after impressing alongside Agar and fellow assistants Ben Cooper and Andy Last, the Australian has been rewarded with an extended stay at the engage Super League club. "I am very happy, I have enjoyed my time and worked hard, but it has been really enjoyable going to work every day and I am really happy to be asked to stay on and helped to contribute and build to something for next year," Webster told the club's official website. "It is good to be recognised for my work so far since I have come here, I have enjoyed it. "It has been a steep learning curve for me and plenty I have had to learn quickly, but it is a great environment to be in and that is a credit to a lot of people behind the scenes and that is one of the reasons why we have had a successful season so far." Agar added: "He has contributed greatly to our group since he has been here and is a very good young coach in the making."
