Six Super League players face disciplinary hearing

Leeds back-row forward Carl Ablett will face the Rugby Football League's disciplinary committee on Tuesday after being charged with making a dangerous tackle. Ablett is accused of "using his body forcefully to bend or apply unnecessary pressure to the head, neck and spine" of Hull KR forward Rhys Lovegrove during the Rhinos' 38-28 defeat at Craven Park on Saturday. He was cited by the RFL's match review panel, which also issued cautions to Luke Gale (Harlequins), Glenn Morrison (Wakefield), Paul Sykes (Bradford), Willie Manu (Hull) and Brett Ferres (Castleford). All incidents took place in Super League matches at the weekend.
