London Broncos have signed prop Ben Evans from Warrington for the 2017 season.

The 23-year-old confirmed he was leaving the club in September and did not play for the Wolves in 2016 after receiving an injury at the back end of 2015.

A spell at Bradford Bulls gave the prop game time, and he was also loaned to Championship champions Leigh Centurions in June for a month to cover suspensions.

The prop has appeared 22 times for Warrington, and played for Wales during the World Cup in 2013.

"I had an amazing time with the Wolves and am very grateful for the opportunity the club gave me, I'm ready for a new challenge now and really looking forward to the move down south." said the Welshman.

Broncos coach Andrew Henderson added: "He is a very industrious and robust prop. Even though he is still relatively young, he is already a capped Welsh international and has League One, Championship and Super League experience - that's every level of professional rugby league played in this country."
