Quins continue to build squad for next season
Prop Karl Temata will remain with Harlequins for next season after agreeing a new 12-month contract.
The 32-year-old was hampered by injury this season, making just 13 appearances in the engage Super League.
He joined the capital club back in 2005 from the New Zealand Warriors having played for the Cook Islands at the 2000 World Cup.
"I have been in London for five years and I am very comfortable here and consider it my home," he told the club's website. "I have so much confidence in the club and will do my best to take them up the table next season."
Temata is the latest player to sign a deal to remain at the Twickenham Stoop, much to the delight of acting head coach Rob Powell.
"He has had a hard two years with injury but, when fit, he is one of the most consistent props in the competition and an asset to any club," he said.
