Cook Islander super keen after signing for Bradford
Cook Island three-quarter Keith Lulia has agreed a two-year deal with Bradford Bulls.
The 24-year-old will make the switch at the end of the season from Newcastle Knights, having played under Bulls coach Mick Potter as a youngster at St George Illawarra.
And Lulia, who will largely be used as a centre by Bradford although he can also play on the wing, can't wait to make the switch to England.
"I'm really looking forward to getting there for the 2012 season and I'm super keen to prove myself in the English Super League," he said.
"I know my decision will prove to be a winner for both parties.
"My fiancée Kelly and I are extremely excited about the challenge ahead. I did plenty of my own research into Bradford's history and have monitored their efforts this season.
Fantastic
"They are a club with a proud tradition and are on the rise. I'm excited to be part of their future and I thank them for the professional manner in which all negotiations have taken place."
Potter is confident Lulia will make a massive impact on the Super League.
"Keith is a fantastic acquisition for the club," said Potter. "I have monitored his progress since he was a junior in Wollongong playing with Port Kembla.
"He is a dynamic outside back that can beat people and he is a solid defender.
"I think he will really make a mark in Super League in the future and I am delighted to have captured him at such a young age."
