Kruise Leeming signs new contract with Huddersfield Giants

Huddersfield hooker Kruise Leeming has committed his future to the Giants by signing a contract extension that will keep him at the club until the end of the 2020 season.

The 21-year-old, who was born in Swaziland, has made 38 appearances for Huddersfield and is expected to challenge new signing Adam O'Brien for the hooking role in Super League in 2017.

Huddersfield coach Rick Stone, said: "Kruise is going to play a big part this season.

"He has really put in a terrific performance in pre-season this year and has probably been our stand-out trainer.
