Giants take the spoils to spoil O'Loughlin testimonial
Huddersfield Giants beat a young Wigan Warriors 30-18 in Sean O'Loughlin's testimonial game at the DW Stadium.
The Warriors scored three early tries with new signing Anthony Gelling, forward Gareth Hock and substitute John O'Donnell all crossing the line to open up a 12-6 lead.
But the visitors took control by the break with tries from Danny Brough, Greg Eden and Eorl Crabtree.
Huddersfield continued to press and Shaun Lunt and Jacob Fairbank touched down in the second half, while Brough took his goal tally to five before Tom Spencer pulled a try back for Wigan.
One of the biggest cheers on the night came 15 minutes from the end when 35-year-old former Great Britain full-back Kris Radlinski made a cameo appearance, five years after announcing his retirement.
