Forward's absence increases possibility of Hock being picked

Wigan will have to do without Chris Tuson for Saturday's clash with Huddersfield after the forward was handed a one-match ban. Tuson was found guilty by the Rugby Football League's disciplinary committee of making dangerous contact with St Helens forward Jon Wilkin during the Warriors' 32-10 victory over their rivals last Friday. As well as being hit with a suspension, the 23-year-old was also fined £300. His absence for the game against the Giants, which is live on Sky Sports, could lead to a sensational return for Gareth Hock. The England international will complete a two-year drugs suspension before the weekend and, with Wigan not having an Under 20's fixture, may now be thrown straight back in at the deep end by coach Michael Maguire. Hock, who recently signed a new five-year contract with the Cherry and Whites, was given special dispensation by the RFL to resume training two months ago. Meanwhile, Catalan Dragons second rower Sebastien Raguin was also handed a one-match ban, and a £300 fine, for a dangerous tackle. The Frenchman was punished for a hit on Huddersfield winger Jermaine McGillvary during his side's 28-20 defeat at the Shay last Saturday.
