Gigot called up after impressing national coach Goulding

Catalans Dragons provide 15 members of France's 20-man squad for the upcoming clash against England on June 12. France coach Bobbie Goulding has leaned heavily on the Perpignan-based Super League club ahead of the mid-season international in Leigh. Dragons duo Tony Gigot and Michael Simon are both selected, with the former having made 10 first-team appearances this season. "Tony has as much talent as any junior in England," Goulding said of Gigot, who is only 19 and spent last year in Harlequins' reserves. "He's got a lot to learn but people speak well of him and he deserves a chance. I'm sure this will be the first of many Tests for him." The other new faces in the party are Toulouse centre or back rower Florian Quintilla, who made four Super League appearances for the Dragons in 2008, and Lezignan centre Michael Tribillac. France squad (Catalans unless stated): A Bentley, T Bosc, R Casty, V Duport (Toulouse), O Elima, J Fakir, D Ferriol, T Gigot, C Gossard, M Griffi (Toulouse), G Mounis, D Pelo, F Quintilla (Lezignan), S Raguin, M Simon, C Stacul, J Touxagas, M Tribillac (Lezignan), F Vaccari, C Villegas (Toulouse).
