Knee injury prompts former Dragons stand-off's decision

Australian stand-off Adam Mogg has decided to retire at the end of the NRL season. Mogg was released on compassionate grounds by engage Super League club Catalans Dragons earlier this year. He had 20 months left on his contract with the Dragons but wanted to return home for family reasons. The 33-year-old resumed playing with Canberra Raiders but has now bowed to a chronic knee injury. "My body has decided to retire on me," he said. "I've been pretty fortunate my whole career and it's just the last four months I've come across a knee injury. "I've got two kids and I want to have a quality life after footy."
