France international set to be sidelined for at least six weeks
Catalan Dragons have confirmed that Cyril Stacul did suffer a broken ankle in their Carnegie Challenge Cup tie at Huddersfield.
The France international sustained the injury during his side's 30-16 loss to their top-flight rivals in the fifth round of the knockout competition.
Stacul is now set to be sidelined for at least six weeks, giving Dragons coach Trent Robinson a selection headache amongst his backs.
The 26-year-old has been switched from wing to full-back in April following the loss of Clint Greenshields with a dislocated elbow, though the Australian is soon set to return to action.
The French club, who currently sit seventh in the table, travel to Wakefield to take on the Wildcats in Super League action on Sunday.
