Australian will now miss crucial away trip to Catalan Dragons
Hull KR stand-off Blake Green has lost his appeal against a one-match ban imposed for a dangerous throw during his side's 24-22 win over St Helens.
The 24-year-old was cited by the Rugby Football League's match-review panel after an incident involving Saints winger Jamie Foster during Sunday's match at Craven Park.
He was found guilty by the disciplinary committee at a hearing on Tuesday and was handed a suspension.
Green had hoped to have the ban lifted but an appeals panel upheld the original verdict, which also included a £300 fine.
It means the half-back, who has missed only one game in his first season in Super League, will not be available for Rovers' must-win game against Catalan Dragons in Perpignan on Saturday week.
