Hull centre Kirk Yeaman celebrated his new two-year contract by helping his side to a 26-6 win over Castleford in his testimonial match at the KC Stadium.
England international Ellis won the penalty to establish the field position for Holdsworth, Shannon McDonnell and Yeaman to combine to release Tom Briscoe. Dixon passed inside to the supporting McDonnell, who sent the former Hull KR full back under the posts for a well-deserved try. Ex-Salford stand-off Holdsworth slotted his second conversion to round off the scoring in an impressive pre-season display.
