Warrington forward Anthony England could be banned for up to eight matches after being charged with spitting at an opponent.
The 28-year-old prop was one of four players sin-binned during a spiteful Super League match between the Wolves and Huddersfield at the John Smith's Stadium on Sunday.
He was shown a yellow card along with Huddersfield captain Danny Brough following a fight, and had to be restrained as the players continued their argument on the sidelines.
England has been charged by the Rugby Football League's match review panel with a grade E offence which carries a suspension of between four and eight matches.
The player does not have the option of submitting an early-guilty plea and will appear before an independent disciplinary tribunal on Tuesday.
