Ex-England international dropping down the leagues
Former Bradford Bulls three-quarter Nathan McAvoy has joined National League One club Leigh Centurions.
He was released by Steve McNamara at the end of last season after completing his second spell at Odsal.
McAvoy first joined the Bulls between 1998 and 2002 before spending time with the Salford City Reds, Leeds Rhinos and Wigan Warriors.
He returned to Bradford last season on an initial one-year deal and salary cap constraints meant his contract was not renewed.
The former England international has committed to 12 months part-time at Hilton Park and he is set to make his first appearance for the club in the pre-season friendly against the Keighley Cougars on January 20.
