Three year deal in place for Super League
The Super League will be sponsored by engage Mutual for three more seasons after a deal was agreed on Tuesday.
The Yorkshire-based financial services provider will continue to back the game's elite competition until the end of the 2010 season with an option for the following year.
Engage, who took over sponsorship from Tetley's in 2005, had initially signed a three year contract that was due to run out at the end of this season.
Paul Kimberley, the RFL's commercial director, said: "We are delighted that engage has decided to extend its sponsorship of Super League.
"They are an extremely pro-active partner who clearly sees the benefits of aligning their brand with the quality and excitement of Super League.
"Each season the competition continues to go from strength to strength and with the support of engage we have added an extra dimension.
"Not only are we grateful for their continued support of the regular season, play-offs and Grand Final, but also their enthusiasm to support our latest innovation, the Magic Weekend, where we play an entire round of fixtures in one venue over one weekend."
