Scrum-half agrees to leave early after injury-plagued season
Hull have parted company with Australian scrum-half Adam Dykes after just one season at the KC Stadium.
The 31-year-old managed just 12 appearances in Super League as he was hampered throughout by injuries.
He arrived at the Airlie Birds from the Cronulla Sharks on a two-year deal but after talks with the club, has agreed to leave with immediate effect.
In a statement, Hull said: "We thank Adam for his contribution and wish him the best of luck in his future career."
Dykes' departure comes just a day after the Black and Whites announced that James Webster, another Australian scrum-half, would not be offered a new contract.
Hull expect to have Richard Horne back after being sidelined for much of the 2008 campaign while they have also signed Chris Thorman from Huddersfield.
