The ex-Warrington man is one of 11 overseas-based players named in coach Adrian Lam's final 24-man squad, which also includes Hull KR duo Stanley Gene and Makali Aizue.
Lam has appointed Gene and Keith Peters as vice-captains of a squad that includes five new faces in David Moore, Neville Costigan, Jay Ashton, Jason Chan and Sam Joe.
The party, who went into a training camp today, depart for Cairns on Thursday to prepare for their opener against England on Saturday, October 25, at Dairy Farmers Stadium in Townsville.
Papua New Guinea, known as the Kumuls, have been handed a particularly tough draw at the tournament having been drawn in a group with Australia, England and New Zealand.
