Broken thumb sidelines versatile back
Mark Lennon has been ruled out of Celtic Crusaders' two fixtures at his former club Hull KR due to injury.
The Welsh international utility back, who joined the Crusaders from Rovers two years ago, suffered a fractured thumb in last Saturday's 4-0 defeat to St Helens.
The Bridgend club go to Hull KR for an engage Super League match on March 15 and return to Craven Park in the Carnegie Challenge Cup on April 3.
"I'm gutted," said Lennon. "When the fixtures were announced the first ones I looked for were the trips to my former clubs, Hull KR and Castleford Tigers.
"I should make the Castleford trip as that's not until the last day of the season but to miss not one but two trips to Hull KR, where I enjoyed many happy times, is really gutting."
Another former Hull KR player, winger Luke Dyer, is set to return for the Crusaders on Sunday after missing the Saints game with a thigh injury.
