Maesteg coach switches codes as clubs forge links
Celtic Crusaders have crossed codes to appoint Maesteg head coach and director of rugby Kevan Tee as their new football manager.
The 47-year-old will replace Frenchman Thibault Giroud when he takes over next week as strength and conditioning coach at Biarritz.
Current football manager Anthony Seibold will switch to head of performance.
Tee will quit his job as Maesteg coach but stay on as director of rugby as part of the growing links between the Crusaders and Maesteg, who host junior rugby league matches.
He said: "I'm pleased to be joining the Crusaders full-time.
"To have an opportunity to work at a Super League club was something I couldn't turn down."
Seibold's new role will incorporate recruitment as well as the athletic preparation and development of the Super League squad.
