Scotland international Mick Nanyn has moved from Harlequins to Leigh on a permanent deal.
The 27-year-old goalkicking centre, who played in all three of Scotland's matches at the 2008 World Cup, was one of eight off-season recruits for Quins.
But he failed to break into the first team and moved to Leigh on loan at the end of May.
Leigh head coach Paul Rowley has now signed the former Swinton, Rochdale, Whitehaven, Widnes and Oldham player until the end of the 2010 season.
