Agar pleased to see new face during injury crisis

Injury-hit Hull FC have completed the signing of prop Josh Cordoba from Parramatta Eels. The 25-year-old will make the move to the KC Stadium on a short-term deal until the end of the season. The Airlie Birds made their move for the forward after they found themselves without Peter Cusack, Ewan Dowes and Jamie Thackray through injuries. Fortunately for the black and whites, Cordoba holds a Spanish passport which enabled them to avoid the visa delay which has so far hampered the arrival of New Zealand Warriors forward Hame Lauaki.

Power

Hull find themselves sitting in 11th place in the engage Super League, however, they still remain just two points away from an all important play-off place and so will be looking to challenge down to the wire. At 6ft 1in and weighing 16st 3lb, Cordoba will bring depth and power to a depleted Hull squad. He made over 50 appearances in the NRL and has built himself a glowing reputation. Hull coach Richard Agar said: "Obviously with the injuries we have been left very light in the front row. "Josh will help shore us up in that department. He is a good player with plenty of experience and is looking forward to getting here."
