Former Bulls star to undertake player-ambassador role at the Centurions

Former Bulls star Robbie Paul has become the first signing by Ian Millward, who will return for a second stint at Leigh later this year. Paul has agreed to combine playing with an ambassador role, with the half-back hoping to use his vast experience to help propel the Centurions back up to the Super League. Paul spent 11 trophy-filled seasons at the Bulls, before moving to Huddersfield in 2006 and then on two Salford. The former New Zealand international will see out his current deal with the Reds before moving to Leigh at the end of the season. Paul said: "I've spoken to Ian Millward and I'm really looking forward to working with him. "The club have aspirations for Super League and I believe that I have the unique set of skills that can help towards that ultimate goal, on-and-off the field. "They want someone who can communicate with a number of different types of audiences as well as producing the goods on the pitch."
