Paul Prescott says Wigan have all the motivation they need to beat Warrington on Saturday.
Warriors forward reveals extra motivation ahead of Wolves clash
Paul Prescott says Wigan are determined to make amends for their 2007 Challenge Cup semi-final exit when they face Warrington on Saturday.
The front row forward, 23, was part of the side that suffered a surprise loss to Catalans Dragons two years ago and is eager to make amends when he lines up against the Wolves for a place in this year's final.
And while he knows Tony Smith has made Warrington a dangerous side, Prescott believes the Warriors will be even more determined to reach Wembley after the Catalans defeat.
"That was a tough one to take," he said.
"A lot of players want to make up for it. A lot of people felt we should have got to the final.
"We were doing quite well at the time but we got outplayed on the day and, hopefully, we can learn the lessons from that."
He added: "Warrington have really improved with a new coach.
"It will be close, but we're confident.
"We know where they will come at us. They've got a good pack with players like Adrian Morley in there and we have to get on top of them."
