Warrington coach renews his contract
Former Bradford hooker James Lowes has penned a new contract with Challenge Cup winners Warrington.
The 39-year-old ex-Great Britain international was replaced as head coach by England boss Tony Smith at Wolves earlier this year and moved aside to become first-team coach.
Lowes, who is out of contract at the end of the season, had been rumoured to return to the Bulls but he has signed a 12-month deal to stay at the Halliwell Jones Stadium.
His new contract is part of a backroom reshuffle which will see reserves coach Richard Marshall offering support to Smith and Lowes and Chris Baron joining the club as strength and conditioning coach from Leicester Tigers following the departure of Nigel Wright.
The Wolves will also have access to a centralised training facility at the University of Chester which will give them admission to a state-of-the-art gym, physiotherapy rooms and video analysis suites.
