New signing facing disciplinary action after debut

Wigan new boy Jeff Lima could face disciplinary action just one match into his Super League career after being charged with two offences. The former Melbourne Storm prop has been pulled up by the Rugby Football League's match review panel for incidents in the Warriors' 16-16 draw with St Helens on Saturday. Lima has been charged with making dangerous tackles on Sia Soliola and Jon Wilkin during the clash at the Millennium Stadium. He will face a disciplinary panel on Tuesday over the grade C offences, which carry a suspension of up to three matches. Two other players have also been cited after alleged fouls during the season-opening Magic Weekend in Cardiff. Wakefield centre Aaron Murphy has been charged with making a dangerous throw in the Waildcats' 40-20 loss against Castleford, whose prop Steve Snitch is facing a grade B charge of using undue pressure on the shoulder of Paul Johnson. The pair will also appear in front of the disciplinary panel on Tuesday, as will Salford hooker Wayne Godwin, who was sent of for punching Crusaders' Clinton Schifcofske.
