Former Rovers player retains the role he's held for three seasons

New Hull KR head coach Craig Sandercock has confirmed Chris Chester as his assistant but Andrew Webster has left the club. Chester, who turns 33 on Saturday, played for Rovers from 2007-08 before injury forced his premature retirement and served as assistant to former Rovers coach Justin Morgan for the last three seasons. Australian Webster has left the Robins backroom staff after six years to take up a job with Wests Tigers. "I'm excited about the future but sad to be leaving Rovers," Webster said. "This is too good an opportunity to pass up."
