Catalan Dragons will face Wakefield in a testimonial match for ex-player Jerome Guisset next month.
The Dragons and the Wildcats, much changed over the close season, will meet in a pre-season encounter on January 14 at Catalan's Gilbert Brutus Stadium.
"I'm looking forward to playing Wakefield," said Catalan coach Trent Robinson. "It will be a great test for our first match and a great day for the Catalans with the testimonial of Jerome."
The testimonial match will be preceded by a curtain-raiser featuring a host of ex-France internationals and former Dragons players including Alex Chan, Justin Murphy, John Wilson, Adel Fellous, Laurent Frayssinous and Mathieu Griffi.
Guisset, now assistant coach to Robinson, began his career with Perpignan club St Esteve and also played for Canberra, Warrington and Wigan before finishing with the Dragons at the end of the 2010 season.
The match is the first of Catalan's pre-season fixtures. The following week they will entertain London Broncos at the same venue.
