Sky Sports looks at where Andy Murray's Wimbledon semi-final with Jo-Wilfried Tsonga was won and lost.
Andy Murray booked his place in the Wimbledon final with a four-set win over fifth seed Jo-Wilfried Tsonga.
Having gone two sets up, Murray surrendered the third before getting over the line in nerve-jangling fashion. He staved off two break points in the ninth, before breaking himself in the 12th to win 6-3 6-4 3-6 7-5.
Here, Sky Sports looks at where the match was won and lost.
SERVE
There was barely anything to choose between the serves of the two players, with both winning 75% of points on their first delivery. Tsonga landed two more aces - 11 - and they both committed two double faults, but it was on the second serve that Murray had the edge, winning 64% of the points compared to Tsonga's 32%.
ERRORS
While Tsonga is capable of the brilliant - as he proved in the third and fourth sets with a string of bruising winners - he is also liable to be wild, and so it proved as he committed 42 unforced errors. His style meant he landed more winners than Murray (47 to 40), but Murray was much safer, making just 12 errors.
BREAK POINTS
With Murray on the ropes midway through the fourth set, Tsonga had a golden chance to floor him and level at 2-2 when he earned two break points. He was twice wildly long, though, and, although Murray himself took just four of 12 break points, he cashed them in when it mattered, most importantly with his cross-court forehand on match point.
EXPERIENCE
While Tsonga is the older man at 27 and ranked fifth in the world, this was just his second Wimbledon semi-final compared to Murray's fourth. The Scot has also reached three previous grand slam finals and his coolness was evident as the match tightened up towards the end, keeping a calm head - something not always associated with him in the past - to see off Tsonga's charge.
