Victoria Azarenka did not lose a single game en route to defeating Romanian Ioana Raluca Olaru.
Double-bagel loss for Raluca Olaru
Victoria Azarenka scorched to a crushing double-bagel victory over Romania's Ioana Raluca Olaru in the second round of Wimbledon.
Azarenka, the eighth seed, needed only one hour and five minutes to dispatch her opponent 6-0 6-0 in the most one-sided contest on the third day of Wimbledon.
The 19-year-old Belarussian was not troubled at any point during the match, winning 80 percent of her service points and breaking six times.
Azarenka will face another Romanian, Sorana Cirstea, in the third round and although she does not have a particular goal she realises this is a fantastic opportunity to reach the tournament's latter stages.
"I guess I have a good chance now but I don't feel any pressure," she said.
"It is always important to go step by step. There are still a lot of good players in the draw.
"I don't put myself in the position where I have to go as far as the quarter-finals or semi-finals. If I do better than that then that's great."
