WWE Smackdown preview: Which tag teams will make it to Backlash?
American Alpha to face Usos; Hype Bros v Heath Slater and Rhyno
Wednesday 7 September 2016 09:08, UK
The competitors in Smackdown's Tag Team Title Match at Backlash will be confirmed on Tuesday night, live at 1am on Sky Sports 5.
American Alpha and The Usos will square off in one Smackdown semi-final, with Rhyno and Heath Slater tackling The Hype Bros in the other.
The winners of each bout will advance to the final at Backlash on Sunday night, where the inaugural blue-brand twin titlists will be crowned. CLICK HERE TO ORDER WWE BACKLASH
Elsewhere on Smackdown, AJ Styles and Dean Ambrose could come to blows before they battle for the WWE World Championship at Backlash.
Plus, Nikki Bella, Naomi, Carmella, Alexa Bliss, Becky Lynch and Natalya will try to gain momentum ahead of this weekend's Six-Pack Challenge for the Smackdown Women's Championship.
It's also safe to assume that Randy Orton and Dolph Ziggler will find it hard to steer clear of their respective Backlash adversaries, Bray Wyatt and Intercontinental Champion The Miz.
Watch WWE Smackdown from 1am on Tuesday night (Wednesday morning) on Sky Sports 5 - and then catch Backlash at 1am on Sunday (Monday morning) live on Sky Sports Box Office.
