WWE Smackdown General Manager Daniel Bryan has implied that a new set of tag-term titles will be introduced to his brand.

WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day headed to Monday Night Raw during the Draft, leaving Tuesday's show without a set of twin titles.

However, Smackdown's newest duo, American Alpha, as well as The Usos, The Vaudevillains, Breezango and The Ascension could soon have hardware to fight for.

"We are trying to formulate a good way to bring in titles to give people the opportunity to take these titles and prove they are they are the best team on Smackdown," Bryan told WWE.

Raw bosses Stephanie McMahon and Mick Foley have established the WWE Universal Title - Seth Rollins and Finn Balor will square off at SummerSlam to become the maiden champion - since WWE Champion Dean Ambrose was drafted to Smackdown last month.

Bryan added: "We don't want to be like Raw and say: 'We need to have a World Title, so we're gonna call it the Universal Title! The Galaxy Title! These guys are gonna be the Milky Way Tag Team Champions!"
