The Hype Bros staked their claim for inclusion in Smackdown's Tag Team Title tournament with victory over The Vaudevillains on WWE Main Event.

Zack Ryder and Mojo Rawley beat Aiden English and Simon Gotch with a Rough Ryder-Spinebuster combo, a result which no doubt impressed Smackdown General Manager Daniel Bryan.
The inaugural Smackdown Tag Team Champions will be decided during the competition final at the Backlash pay-per-view in Richmond, Virginia on Sunday, September 11.
The Usos and American Alpha progressed to the semi-finals on Tuesday's edition of the blue brand with pinfall triumphs over The Ascension and Breezango respectively.
Rhyno will also be involved in the first round, having agreed to partner the contract-seeking Heath Slater, but suffered a singles defeat to Erick Rowan on Main Event in Connecticut.
Rowan, recently jettisoned by long-time leader Bray Wyatt, overcame The Man Beast with a spinning heel kick followed by a full nelson slam.
