WWE NXT Tag Team Champions The Revival launched a vicious assault on Tommaso Ciampa on Wednesday's show at Full Sail University.
Ciampa was backstage discussing the injury sustained by his tag-team partner Johnny Gargano when Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder struck.
Dawson and Wilder - who successfully defended their titles against Ciampa and Gargano at NXT TakeOver: Brookyn II - dragged Ciampa to the ring and dropped him with Shatter Machine.
Elsewhere, Tye Dillinger beat Buddy Murphy - a week after defeating the Australian's partner Wesley Blake - while Steve Cutler knocked off Kenneth Crawford with a fisherman driver.
Plus, No Way Jose - edged out by Austin Aries at TakeOver: Brooklyn II - overcame former American footballer and athlete Angelo Dawkins.
