Cesaro kept his best-of-seven series against Sheamus alive with a pinfall victory over the Irishman at Wednesday's live WWE show in London.
The Swiss Superman trailed 3-0 heading into the fourth encounter, following a defeat at SummerSlam and two losses on Monday Night Raw.
But he trimmed Sheamus' lead to 3-1 at The O2 Arena, on a night where Kevin Owens successfully defended the Universal Title against Seth Rollins and Sami Zayn in a Triple Threat Match.
Owens - who will face Rollins at Clash of Champions on September 25, live on Sky Sports Box Office - pinned Zayn to secure the victory.
Elsewhere, The New Day overcame Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson; Newcastle native Neville knocked off Bo Dallas; and Braun Strowman bested Goldust via TKO.
Charlotte saw off Sasha Banks to retain the WWE Women's Championship and Roman Reigns downed Chris Jericho, while Big Show crushed The Shining Stars.
