Back in the day, Dolph Ziggler was not called Dolph Ziggler.

He was called Nicky and wrestled alongside Kenny, Mikey, Johnny and Mitch in all-male cheerleading group The Spirit Squad.

The faction enjoyed success, too, holding the World Tag Team Championship for 216 days and mixing it with the likes of Shawn Michaels, Triple H and Ric Flair.

Yet any friendship between Ziggler and former pals Kenny and Mikey appeared over on Tuesday night when all three appeared on MizTV.

The Miz had brought Kenny and Mikey to Smackdown to celebrate Ziggler's career, which will come to a close at No Mercy on Sunday if The Show-Off loses his intercontinental Title match to The Miz.

Kenny and Mikey jumped Ziggler from behind - although the four-time Intercontinental and two-time world champion soon turned the tide and even came within a whisker of Superkicking The Miz…

Watch Ziggler catch up with his olds pals in the video at the top of the screen and then check out the clip below to see some of his, er, WWE lowlights.
