Kassius Ohno made a shock return to WWE at a show in Orlando to confront NXT Champion Shinsuke Nakamura.
Ohno, a star of the independent wrestling scene who previously competed in NXT between 2012 and 2013, headed to the ring after Nakamura and Tajiri battled Bobby Roode and Samoa Joe in tag-team action.
The 37-year-old tapped Nakamura's title before returning to the back to suggest that a match between the two could take place at a later date.
Triple H later tweeted a picture of himself shaking hands with the Ohio-born star with the caption: "Welcome back... #KassiusOhno @WWENXT."
Ohno won the Ring of Honor Tag Team Titles twice with reigning Raw Tag Team Champion Cesaro when the two were known as Chris Hero and Claudio Castagnoli respectively.
Ohno and Cesaro also claimed tag gold in the Chikara, Combat Zone Wrestling, and Juggalo Championship Wrestling promotions.
