Goldberg has agreed to face Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 33 - and could head into the match as WWE Universal Champion.

The WCW legend will face Lesnar one final time on April 2, having beaten him at WrestleMania XX in 2004, crushed him in 86 seconds at Survivor Series in November, and dumped him out of last month's Royal Rumble.

However, Goldberg will first battle reigning Universal Champion Kevin Owens at Fastlane on March 5 after Chris Jericho accepted the veteran's challenge on best friend Owens' behalf on Monday's WWE Raw.

Owens was seething at Jericho's decision but the Canadians' bickering was only temporary, with Owens later helping his pal beat Sami Zayn to retain the United States Title after superkicking The Underdog from the Underground while the referee's back was turned.

Elsewhere, former two-time NXT Champion Samoa Joe - fresh from attacking Seth Rollins on last week's show - inked his official Raw contract, before beating Roman Reigns in the main event, thanks to an assist from Braun Strowman, who had earlier decimated four local talents.

Strowman attacked Reigns as he prepared to nail Joe with a spear, allowing Raw's newest recruit to plant The Big Dog with an enziguiri to the back of the head and a match-sealing uranage.

Strowman - who will face Reigns one-on-one at Fastlane - continued the assault after the bell, attacking the ex-Shield star with the steel steps and hurling him through the ringside barricade.

Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows beat Cesaro and Sheamus via disqualification to keep hold of the Raw Tag Team Titles, with Big Cass, who was watching from ringside, booting Gallows after he had kicked his partner Enzo Amore earlier in the bout.

Former Raw Tag Team Champions The New Day defeated The Shining Stars with Midnight Hour, while Bayley was beaten by Nia Jax following interference from Raw Women's Champion Charlotte.

Noam Dar and Tony Nese lost a six-man tag-team match to Jack Gallagher, Cedric Alexander and TJ Perkins after they were abandoned by their partner, WWE Cruiserweight Champion Neville.

Dar, Nese, Gallagher, Alexander and Perkins will now meet in a Fatal Five-Way on Tuesday night's 205 Live, with the winner earning a title shot against Neville at Fastlane next month.
