The Elimination Chamber was first used 15 years ago at the 2002 Survivor Series pay-per-view - and it has housed many memorable moments since.
Ahead of the structure being deployed again on Sunday - John Cena will defend the WWE Title against Bray Wyatt, AJ Styles, The Miz, Baron Corbin and Dean Ambrose - we have delved into the archives.
Check out our top five highlights in the paragraphs below and feel free to nominate your own on twitter @SkySportsWWE.
Then watch Elimination Chamber, live on Sky Sports Box Office at 1am on Sunday night, or follow a blog on skysports.com and the Sky Sports app.
Michaels wins the first Chamber
When: Survivor Series (November 17, 2002)
Where: Madison Square Garden, New York
Who else was involved: Triple H, Booker T, Kane, Chris Jericho, Rob Van Dam
The story: Michaels captured the World Heavyweight Title from his friend-turned-enemy Triple H in the inaugural Elimination Chamber Match, a bloodied Heartbreak Kid nailing The Game with Sweet Chin Music to earn the title, having earlier eliminated Chris Jericho with the same move. Van Dam leapt off the pod and onto Triple H in one of the bout's most daredevil spots, while Kane was ejected after being clocked with a Pedigree (Triple H), Sweet Chin Music (Michaels) and Lionsault (Jericho).
HBK helps Jericho down Undertaker
When: Elimination Chamber (February 21, 2010)
Where: Scottrade Center, St Louis, Missouri
Who else was involved: John Morrison, CM Punk, R-Truth, Rey Mysterio
The story: Michaels was not desperate for Jericho to leave the Chamber with the World Heavyweight Title, he was just desperate for Undertaker not to. The Showstopper wanted a match with Taker at WrestleMania 26 having lost to him at WrestleMania 25, so he proceeded to sneak into the Chamber and smash The Phenom with Sweet Chin Music to facilitate that match. Jericho pinned the legend to take his title, before Taker beat Michaels at 'Mania to send the latter into retirement.
Second time lucky for Edge
When: No Way Out (February 15, 2009)
Where: KeyArena, Seattle, Washington
Who else was involved: Triple H, Undertaker, Big Show, Vladimir Kozlov, Jeff Hardy, John Cena, Rey Mysterio, Chris Jericho, Mike Knox, Kane, Kofi Kingston
The story: If at first you don't succeed! Having lost the WWE Title during the first Elimination Chamber Match of the night - he was pinned by Hardy before Triple H claimed the belt - the Canadian ambushed Kingston before the second, for the World Heavyweight Title, and locked himself in a pod. Edge went on to win the strap by pinning Mysterio following a spear. Pre-match champion Cena had been ousted earlier on when Edge, Jericho and Mysterio teamed up.
Marella gives Bryan scare
When: Elimination Chamber (February 19, 2012)
Where: Bradley Center, Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Who else was involved: Cody Rhodes, Wade Barrett, Big Show, Great Khali
The story: Bryan retained the World Heavyweight Title five years ago to rubberstamp a match with Royal Rumble winner Sheamus at WrestleMania, but you could argue that Marella was the star of the Chamber. The Italian Stallion downed Rhodes with a roll-up and then pinned Barrett after Bryan had hit the Brit with a diving head-butt. A shock title win then looked on the cards when Marella blasted Bryan with a Cobra but Bryan recovered, forcing his plucky opponent to tap out to the LeBell Lock.
Triple H wins star-studded bout
When: No Way Out (February 17, 2008)
Where: Thomas & Mack Center, Las Vegas, Nevada
Who else was involved: Jeff Hardy, Umaga, JBL, Shawn Michaels, Chris Jericho
The story: Triple H has won a record four Elimination Chamber Matches, but one of his best victories came in 2008 in a bout with a real stellar cast. The Game - whose triumph earned him a WrestleMania showdown with world champion Randy Orton and Cena - was joined in the final three by Michaels and Hardy. Triple H eliminated HBK with a Pedigree after Hardy had administered a Twist of Fate, and finally floored fan favourite Hardy with a Pedigree onto a steel chair. Ouch!
