WWE UK champion Pete Dunne gets more than he bargained for when he ambushes Mark Andrews

Fans at this year's Download Festival got more than they bargained for after an invasion by WWE UK Champion Pete Dunne.

Dunne burst on stage to attack fellow British star Mark Andrews, who was in the middle of a gig with his pop-punk band Junior.

Andrews was blindsided by the UK Champion but got off the floor to get his revenge.

As you can see in the video above, Andrews got to his feet to acrobatically dive off the stage and stun Dunne to leave him scampering off to the back.

The pair clashed again later that night, this time in the ring for the UK title, with Dunne coming out on top.

The weekend would go from bad to worse for Andrews after he sustained a nasty looking neck injury on Sunday.

The 25-year old had to be taken out of Donington Park in an ambulance after a vicious clothesline during an eight-man tag match.

WWE later confirmed he was left with heavy bruising following a CT scan at the Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham.

No update has been given about when Andrews will be back in the ring.
