A contentious rivalry between Superstars can sometimes put their parents in harm's way. Here are the most painful messages sent to a rival by targeting dads

When a rivalry gets too intense, families can get involved.

As you can see in the video above, WWE is no exception to that rule with some of the biggest names in the industry getting involved with people they shouldn't.

Take for example, Ric Flair.

The record-tying 16-time world champion appears on the list twice, one as the attacker and once as the victim.

Becky Lynch flew through the ropes to take him out during her Wrestlemania 32 triple threat match involving Sahsa Banks and his daughter Charlotte but Flair also makes the list for beating up Angelo Poffo, the father of Randy Savage, in 1995.

Randy Orton also lives up to the 'legend killer' nickname by delivering an RKO to Hall of Famer Dusty Rhodes as his son Cody could only watch.

Orton's father, Bob, is also on the list, however, as he was on the end of a brutal 'tombstone piledriver' from The Undertaker in 2005.
