We've picked out the best moves from the top matches from this week's SmackDown.

Long-time rivals AJ Styles and John Cena teamed up for the first time on WWE Smackdown to defeat Kevin Owens and Rusev in the main event.

Styles - who won the United States Championship from Owens at a WWE Live Event in New York on Friday night - battled many times in late 2016 and early 2017, including at this year's Royal Rumble event when Cena beat Styles to win a record-equalling 16th world title.

However, The Phenomenal One and The Cenation Leader proved a cohesive unit on Tuesday night - Cena hitting Owens with an Attitude Adjustment and securing the pin after the Canadian had been blasted by a Pele kick from Styles.

Fresh off his United States Title victory at a WWE Live Event at MSG, AJ Styles joins forces with John Cena against Rusev and Kevin Owens.

Elsewhere, WWE Champion Jinder Mahal - who will defend his belt against Randy Orton in a Punjabi Prison Match at Battleground on July 23 - bested Tye Dillinger with the Khallas.

Battleground will also host a bout between Mr Money in the Bank, Baron Corbin, and Shinsuke Nakamura after the two became embroiled in another manic brawl on Smackdown.

Xavier Woods overcame Jey Uso with a flying elbow, while Lana's interference allowed Tamina and Natalya to knock off Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch, Tamina pinning Flair after a potent kick.

Sami Zayn was also punished on the blue brand, slapped backstage by Maria Kanellis and then having a vase smashed over his head by her husband, Mike.
